The Gigawatt Group, a D.C.-based brand experience agency, is looking to hire
a sharp, resourceful, and independent Art Director to work side by side with
our internal creative teams, account team and strategists. The ideal
candidate will excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, while also
demonstrating excellent time management skills and self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees adherence to brand attributes on all design based and visual
work to ensure that our developed brand strategy, or the client’s current
brand strategy is respected and protected.
- Oversees and manages the creative process with projects and accounts that
are assigned
- Will work in conjunction with the creative director / design and in-house
production team
- Creates or oversees a range of concepts and designs for each project and
is able to partner with copywriters to ensure the art direction, and visual
presentation support the concept. *
- Communicates visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards
through presentations with the account director, securing client approval of
recommended designs.
- Leads teams of designers and production artists to execute cross channel
and digital work
- Inspires internal designers, juggles multiple projects simultaneously,
and works closely with clients
- Independently leads the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across
multiple touch points (print/web/video)*
- Prioritizes & manages multiple projects under tight deadlines*
- Will provide constant creative feedback for all work submitted by the
designers to Creative manager
- Ensures creative concepts are strongly tied to strategic marketing goals
- Completes final sign off on all creative projects
