This month, meet Pooja Vara, Paralegal, Caplin & Drysdale, Chartered.

I handle the organization and compilation of various documents to assist clients with their Offshore Voluntary Disclosure to the IRS. I also participate in and strategize on how to respond to IRS denials.

I assist in preparing responses to IRS denials in the form of a protest. Since my team processes quite a few, I worked with the IS staff to create a standardized template for future use. Going forward, this will simplify the process and cut down on preparation time.

The growing presence of social media and how public response leads the trajectory of a campaign.

I joined Ad 2 DC to network and form professional relationships with like-minded professionals. This was also an opportunity for me to get a taste of what the advertising world is like!
