LMO Advertising, a full service advertising agency with headquarters in Arlington, VA, and an office in Baltimore, MD, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Project Manager to work at our headquarters in Arlington, VA in our Digital Department.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Be agile with Agile Project Management. We need the flexibility of Kanban, the grooming of Scrum and dependency management to boot. Facilitate agile processes and process improvement.
• Manage priorities. Our client’s projects service multiple client departments at once. We need to balance client’s requirements, new marketing campaigns, and technology improvements as we keep systems running.
• Keep it running. No matter how many deliverables are due our systems have to run.
• Own accountability. Keep notes, motivate towards goals and get it delivered on time.
• Communicate project & system status. Prepare for and run status meetings and deliver status documents.
• Master dependences. Work with marketing pros, technologists and analysts to coordinate work within and between sprints.
• Work on budgets & proposals. Work with technical leads to gather estimates and turn to project budgets and proposals.
• Manage vendors. Manage external IT infrastructure & SAAS vendors.

At the minimum, you’ll possess deep experiences with:

• Managing software development projects.
• Keeping business critical information systems running.
• Working with clients.
• Understanding business processes from a management perspective.
• Working with software development,.Net stack specifically and building web applications
• Professional verbal and written communication
• Working with programmers, DBAs, QAs and Bas
• Working with bug tracking software and other project management tools

You’ll impress us even more if you have experience with the following:

• Certifications in PMP or Scrum Master
• Building APIs or middle-tier software
• ETL
• Building ASP.Net MVC applications
• Salesforce
• Jira
• SQL Server
• Securing PII (Personally Identifying Information)
• Military service
• The marketing and advertising industry
• Working for a technology consulting firm or an advertising firm.
• Microsoft server management
• Marketo
• Section 508 compliance

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4 years’ experience managing software development projects
• 5 years’ experience with SQL
• 5 years’ experience with .Net software development
• 6 years’ client facing experience
• Ability to work one or two days a week in the DC metro area.
